Hi guys, I figured that we should have a thread with misc details that might be useful to each other from time to time - just odd quirky bits that we might find out and others might find useful. So I think we should keep each reply as short as possible - stick to one item per reply and give it a title at the top. I'll start: Air conditioning pressure sensor Thanks to teuski, we know this sensor can be removed without leaking AC refrigerant gas from the system: teuski wrote: I took the sensor off. There's a valve that prevents the loss of refrigerant. Now i have it in hand to compare to others.

Adding to Air conditioning pressure sensor: The sensor for Dacia Duster etc. works fine although it isn't officially meant for Safrane. Timing Belt Both timing cam pulleys have been swapped over so the Volvo timing marks are redundant as the pulleys are on the wrong cam shafts. Water pump bolts: 7mm Two types of tensioner: Hydraullic and from 98 onwards an automatic tensioner. |
