Hi, New to the forum, Just bought a 1997 2.5 phase 2 and looking for a set of genuine mudflaps and fixings all round, if you have any on cars you are breaking or a set tucked away would be grateful to hear from you. Thanks.

Welcome to the forum!
Firstly give us a rundown of your Safrane and a few pics if you can.
Ref the mudflaps,i do have genuine ones but iam afraid they are fitted to my V6 RXE...
The fronts are the tailered ones and the rears are normal ones but both genuine Renault items.
I,ve never seen a pair of tailered rears for sale.

Thanks, i will post some pictures after i have cleaned up the car, it has been sat after the original owner passed away and i am picking it up on Tuesday from Surrey. If anyone has any mudflaps available be keen to hear, or are they still available from Renault?? I dare say there are some lurking on dusty shelves somewhere. thanks for the welcome to the forum.

i pick the car up next Tuesday from Cranleigh, also visiting a breakers in Newhaven as I have bought a set of matching alloys as they are breaking a phase 2 2.5 I think, i will update as soon as I have visited and take a picture of the breaker to give info to members, The car I have has been sat since october last and was donated to a website that sells unwanted cars and donates the proceeds to charity, £300 paid for a one owner from new 116K miles in good condition, complete with private plate, i have only seen pictures so far, so i hope there are no nasties lurking, I am hoping it just needs cleaning, servicing and brakes checking and cambelt checking before it lives again, it is in the nice metalic light sea green and looks smart with no obvious damage that I can see on the pictures. interior looks ok and even has original mats, the yard have been brilliant where it is and nothing has been too much trouble, difficult enough buying a car of pictures but I hop e it will be ok.
Looking round there are several safranes on car and classic.co.uk and a couple on Gumtree mainly the 2 litre cars though.

Got it home and washed it and it looks very very nice, the bargain of the year for me. if you can PM your e-mail address i will forward some pictures and perhaps you can post them for me. thanks.

Hi there - sounds good, a Questor with all the toys for £300 - bargain.
What was the website you found it on? I think I may have to look at this myself.
