Well its all done!!!!!
From start to finish the treatment i got was totally brilliant, the fitter was very friendly and showed real passion for his job and was very impressed with the condition of the Safrane,he said that he had read the notes from the customer and when he saw that the owner would remove trims, scuttle etc he know it was an ex windscreen fitter or a Renault fan!
The tools he used where amazing, the way the screen gets cut out is simply brilliant,no more cutting out with cheesewire back and forth, its all done with a very clever machine which you attach thread the wire around the outside edge of the screen and simply turn the handle which cuts around the seal, same again on the passengers side, great to watch, very interesting.
The whole job took 1.5 hours and its now totally perfect,i refitted all the trims and a light clean had everything looking great again, and it was even warm today!!!
Who fitted it AUTOGLASS.

He had the Ezi Wire eh? Lovely bit of kit that is, I thought about buying one a while back and doing screen removals to make a bit of cash but they're a bit steep. Lovely machine though.

When I removed my screen I literally had to scrape a hole through the bond using a metal set square lol. Took me ages to scrap a hole a couple of cm long in the bond but I got there. Once I had that I decided to buy the cheesewire and handles which made life a lot easier. The hardest bit was the bottom of the windscreen - a real PITA that and it took about 1.5 hours (hey it was my first time!!!). Anyway despite someone else saying not to bother as I'd break it etc, it came out intact so I was rather pleased as it had only been fitted a few months before and I'd never even used the electric heating element!

Yeah I've seen them in action on youtube and thought they were very cool. Shame about the price though!

Every time we've had ours done they've cut it out by hand :(
