Yeah we've had two of those that were broken. Our video friend managed to scavenge one from a ph1 3L in my local scrapster that doesnt have the same mechanism and thus lasts a lot longer. I need to get my hands on the ph1 version myself but there just aren't any.

Luckily it can be used open or closed - ok limited when closed but still usable.

First time I've ever heard 150,000 miles described as 'very low mileage'!! I mean I know Safranes can take mileage but 150k is a substantial amount in anyones book. What's the highest mileage Safrane out there? I've seen a couple between 300 and 400k.

Highest I've seen had 430k on the clock and only one owner. I was very tempted to be honest just to prove that Renault can make good reliable cars when people slate them but a bit of an expensive purchase to make a point lol.

My car is about 380k km. This one is in km not miles, so it is less than 100k miles :) (not described, but that what I think)

Just to clarify that this was miles - yes 430k miles. It was a stunning machine and probably had another few hundred k in it but i couldn't handle 3 safranes at the time so i had to watch it sell

I used to talk with a guy in Holland who had gone round the clock in his R25. 1,000,000 km!!!

Should be a bit of life left in my Safrane with just 82,000 miles on then. ;)

1million k? sheesh thats a mega record!

Our safrane has 82k officially but unofficially i know its another 9k older as SAFARNEV6RXE looked it up and found it had its dials swapped out under warranty at 9k. Nothing in the docs about this though lol.

Yours is 2.5 isn't it? Whats the current road tax per 6 months?
