Could the OBD be used to communicate with anything else than the engine ECU?
In a Finnish Renault forum they talk about A and B version of CLIP. The A version costs about a 100€ more but has more features. I'm just wondering if the B is just as good with older cars and the A is to get more out of newer ones. There are good pictures from the physical differences of the A and B:

I'll try the OBD too to see what i can get out of it. If the CLIP is even close as good as the Lexia for Citroëns, then it's a must have :)
edit: I WOULD have tried my luck but the announcement for the cheap CLIP is gone :(
