This doesn,t come up often in the original outer case, would be nice if it still had the letter to the customer aswell.

If it was tax'd and MOT'd I'd probably buy it just to fix the leak, window and lack of spare and sell it on again but without tax and MOT I couldn't justify it.

If it was closer i would buy it for spares for mine ....same colour n everything...but as you say getting it here without MOT would be a pita...

Big job that though Doobie, I've broken up two of these cars and it's a massive task. Oh and the paints never seem to quite truly match either. Thats probably down to the daylight fading and storage conditions from different owners etc.

You also need a lot of space too. I have 2.5 sheds full and more parts stashed on the gronund behind them (doors, bonnet etc). Spare engine and box sat on a pallet.. urgh..

Ah fair enough them mate you know what you're doing then ;)

Be warned though the engine and box on these are nowhere near as small as many cars and are REALLY heavy. To put that into context another safrane owner came round once to buy a few bits from me and had a look at my spare engine. He couldn't believe the size of it saying it was bigger than the 3L engine in his other mottah. Even with the head and gearbox seperated I still can't move the rest of the engine without a sack truck (and i mean the cylinders and sump only lol).

Pesky cars eh? You can never have enough spares stashed away but you can never find enough space to store them either lol
