Well as you asked... About a year ago one summers day i decided to strip several things of the V6 that i thought would actually give a clue to when my car was actually built,and it did,its surprising how much stuff like interior trims,looms etc have dated tags,stickers etc,which can be very helpful,after a long search the latest date i found was the 17/12/93 on the positive battery loom,then 15/12/93 on the main loom,i found nothing later than that,its then guesswork really,but i would of thought it was completed about 1-2 weeks later so about new year 1994,i have the history from the DVLA of previous owners and a copy of the V55 which is the Renault doc used to register a new car,this is an interesting item as it lists everything about the car and were it was being sent,this still lists the 25/1/94 as the registered date. |

Ah so we're going by the registered date as being the date it was 'born' then eh? Must be said, I envy your car from the pics I've seen of it the thing is a minter! |
