Decided I would machine polish and fully detail the Saf as it hasn't been properly done since new. It has always had a pretty good paint job and has always looked tidy but there were a few marks and the normal scratches and swirls which become very evident under lights (like in a multi storey car park) so have spent a few days getting it better than new.

The depth of shine is astounding and the car really does look like it's just rolled out of the showroom. Not a technical post of any description but a bit of fun :cool:

Seriously thats a wonderful job you've done. I'm rather envious.. I need me a polishing machine!

How did you get the chrome and the headlights to look so shiny?

Lovely,that looks fantastic,nice to see you masked up the trims to avoid burning they with the mop,i did this to mine,with the help of our valeter,its amazing how well they come up,even after all these years.
Yours looks fantastic,and the chrome grille really suits it....
