I,am shortly to start collecting a few more items for the V6 which might become a bit difficult to find in the future
What items do you suggest i buy and store away???
I have a mountain of S/H V6 parts but want to store some new parts,now i was thinking of the following
If its something that can still be bought at a factors i shouldn,t worry to much,i.e pads,discs,exhaust etc.
Having said that i can in most cases get the genuine items cheaper than a factors...
I should be buying items that are main dealer only,items like fuel tank strap,switches etc.
I don,t want to go mad and already have a nice useful collection of parts that are new.
So what should i buy?

Anything timing related will be rare for your engine so things like timing chain, spare valves, the two heads will be rare so those, head gaskets..

Also while its rare, exhaust manifolds are known to rot and crack on some cars so those are something I'd possibly thing about.

Airbags! Hopefully you'll never need to replace them but they're mighty expensive.
