Yep all going well i should have another V6 RXE next week...
Its a very early car on a K reg registered Jan 93,Persian red with cloth,no sunroof and a gearbox fault!
Yep the old gearbox fault again,but i will be looking into this.
Its a shame as its low mile(40k odd)
Will update when i have it but must admit not sure what i,am going to do with it,but its a V6 RXE so i must have it!!!!

I have a V6i RT. I noticed in another post you were looking for people who still owned one. I have just joined the forum, so may have posted this in the wrong place etc, not yet having discovered all the protocols!

Are you going to break this one as well, or attempt to save it?

I,am going to see exactly what is wrong with it first and if theres any hidden problems i don,t know about before i decide what to do!

Looking to get myself another Saf, after writing mine off in France last year. Good ones are so hard to come buy though.

Already spoken to the owner, he has set the reserve at £1000, I think that's to much, even for a good one, I am watching it though, hopefully I will win and have a deal with him

Well i,ve got it...
I,am really not sure about it,its a bit tatty and been through it a bit but it only has 45k on it and has potential,most panels are scuffed or scratched but its not a total heap,it starts on the button and idles smooth,most things work(except the gearbox!!!)so heres my findings
It starts fine and runs smoothish.
Exhaust,tyres,brakes look fine.
All lights work.
A few interior bulbs not working(heated seats,half the climate panel)
N/S mirror glass broken
N/S/F foglamp missing
Both front wipers split,rear fine,washers work fine
Suspension rises on the switch,sits at a nice height,not high like most V6s.
No rust!!!!
A/C showing SERVICE.
windscreen looks recent.
All doors lock etc
Its no oil painting but with only 4 on the road(i now own 50% of them)i sort of think i MIGHT try and save this,but not 100% sure yeat,the gearbox replacement isn,t a nice job for a start....

Another thing,i think its one of if not the earliest Safrane to still exist,its very early registered 22/1/93 2 weeks BEFORE they were launched in the U.K.
It was first registered in Jersey,its on a K reg.
