So there I was this morning brushing my teeth when I had a very random thought come into my head from thin air. It suddenly dawned on my just how much I love the interior lighting inside the safrane. The front light being hidden behind the rear view mirror lights up the cabin nicely yet still allows you to see through the windscreen without being blinded. Then the rear interior light is positioned and shaded to light up the rear of the car without blinding you too. The end result is that you can still drive with the car lit up like a christmas tree and still see the road ahead with no problems! To add to that, the rear passengers also have their own little mini lights and the front passenger has one too! Very cool!

So, what is your most admirable feature in your safrane?

I do love the interior lighting at night,its great,so many switches light up.
On the V6 there is all that Saffles mentioned plus the large double DIN stereo which looks fantastic with the graphic equilizer and every button on that lights up,also the 3 centre console switches for the cruise control,sports suspension,high raise.
My main surprise is the roof lights themselves don,t light up,i find this strange,but they do(i think)on a phase 2.
i think my favourite features are
Electric individual rear seats
Electric steering column adjustment
Ergomatic seats(great feature)
Electric memory seats
The Computer controlled suspension,when it works correctly!
Light up sunvisor mirrors
The stereo
Plus more i think,i love my toys on a car and the Safrane has plenty of these,just nice when they all work....

My favourite is the voice synthesiser. You just never know what rubbish its going to come out with next, it adds such a quirk to a very French car! I was sitting in traffic the other day, the sun came out and it randomly came out with "to maintain the desired cabin temperature, switch on the air conditioning". Brilliant!!!
