OMG I just found this on google images:  Thats one seriously pimped safrane! The only other one I've seen like it belongs to our forum friend maassarani if I remember correctly.. It's a phase 1 Bi-Turbo (4x4 I think) which he has dressed up to look like a ph2 and is de-badged:  In his email from a few years back he mentioned that other folks in hi-end performers wouldn't race him in it

I love that Bi-turbo. Looks the absolute business. Would still love to get a bi-turbo. |

Heh, you're not the only one mate! Only trouble is they're left hand drive.. Still, it would be the biz wouldn't it eh? Marcin has one that he's lovingly restoring, he posted pics a while back which show the 4x4 setup. Absolutely fascinating. I think maassarani said that Renault had to electronically limit the engines output to stop the gearbox being blown to bits if memory serves..
