Had a new arrival appear on a beautiful sunny Saturday!

Seen already in the "now the tatty one" thread.

I purchased the car off Dave "SafraneV6RXE" and it's joining my collection of strange and interest (mostly french) cars. It brings my Safrane count up to three. There's the Phase 2 2.5 Exec on the left, the V6 in the middle and the 2.0 RTE breaker on the right.

Absolutely loving the V6 and all it's quirky touches sadly missing from later cars. The air suspension ride is superb, and the car has been wonderfully maintained and it's history put together beautifully by Dave. Many thanks for being as generous as you were with brochures, parts etc. it's much appreciated.

Noticing a lot more differences between the phase one and two than I thought I would. Two completely different characters.

Oh it's YOU lol. I knew one of the guys round here had an avantime and a selection of others but i forgot who! The avantimes are rare these days but i did see one a couple of weeks back!

I'm surprised you managed to part that V6 from SAFRANEV6RXE as I thought he was in love with it and would keep it until the time came to break it. He put a lot of work into that one and replaced loads of parts on it so you should be good for a while!

Sadly the ph2 is missing many of the gizmos that the ph1 has but it's still a great car!

Looking good!!!
Well its all been a very smooth exercise and great that it made it over to you all well,a complete lack of use and the purchase of a Vel Satis 3.5 mean,t this had to go.
Its a tatty example but has had alot of time spent on it to try and save it for the future,i actually started to break this car up when i bought it,seriously i stripped all the boot area then at the last moment changed my mind and decided to save it,hope it all goes well its in good hands.
