I may of messed this up a little and maybe should of paid more attention to this years ago but its suddenly hit me that i SHOULD have a collection of panels in my collection,i,am not bad to be honest but maybe i should of been more clever with storing panels in the past,but i wasn,t.
So i,ve decided its time to add these to the collection before its to late to get anything.
I,ve been asking around a few places we use at work and drawn a blank on anyone supplying any panels,i want to keep genuine Renault,but wanted to know if pattern parts are out there,it seems not!.
So i either go down the route of good S/H items or brand new,i,ve decided that with me working at Renault and with my discount i may go the new route.
Problem is phase 1s are getting so thin on the ground that its difficult to find the parts S/H that i want these include
N/S/R door
Both front doors
Bonnet
Front grille
Tailgate
If i get these i will have every outer panel new,except the roof,which you can,t buy seperate from a shell......
Buying new comes in black primer,if i get S/H they would need stripping down to make them as new again which is abit involverd and would cost a few quid to get prepped and primered.
A front grille seems to be an issue,you point blank can,t buy a new one in the U.K they are N/A.
I have found a new one in the box...in Germany
The O/S/R door is N/A aswell which is handy,as i have a new one already.
