This was my father's car, as was the other two.
All the red ones had the same problem, automatic gearbox, stuck in third gear. Seemed to be a common fault on them.
The blue one which was only uploaded to YouTube recently, had a cambelt from a Renault Clio put on it and it killed the engine, a dodgy mechanic did it and killed that one off. The red ones had been sat for over a period of about 5 years. There's no demand or intention of anyone taking on a old rare car with a load of problems.
The first one with the nice grille was my dads project one, which had the gearbox removed at the time of scrapping if I recall correctly. The stripped down one without a bumper only just ran and was to be used as a donor car for the nicer one.
Scrap value was the highest in a decade in Britain at the time of scrapping them. We scrapped a Mercedes 190D which had 110,000 miles on the clock, but had sat for so long the clutch & flywheel seized up. And the paint job was shot.
The videos are posted for friends and family to see, but bare in mind they're public, so people stumble upon them. Our father has a degree in photography and is a camera fanatic, so enjoys documenting stuff with a camera.
