Thanks, i actually contacted MOTORHOG a while ago about the grille by email and just got a response simply saying "NO PARTS" so i assume they either no longer have the grille or the possibly the whole car. It wasn't a very detailed response!

In my searches on google i came across a French safrane forum which i considered joining to ask about, surely in France there will be a few breakers around..

I'll give them a call though, so i can find out for certain as the email response i got wasn't very helpful.

Strange i asked about a few parts from it a couple of weeks ago and got a reply...
Let us know if they tell you its gone.
I tried to join the French site but had issues signing up.
France is the place for sure but parts are more expensive and they sometimes don,t like posting,a visit to an actual scrapyard in France would be best but i,ve been told some yards are more modern now and don,t stock older cars.
I could kick myself for not buying that Black V6 when i saw it on Gumtree.

Just an update, i phoned MOTORHOG this morning and they said they would check for the grille and phone me back. I didn't get a call but i did receive a text, and it simple said "NO PARTS"... LOL exactly the same as the email i got a few months ago so i guess they really don't have it.

I'm assuming they still have the car for breaking if they said they had parts available to you a couple of weeks ago, just the grille must be gone as i had this same response in February when i asked by email.

They do still have the car as i put in an enquiry about some parts and they came back with prices but not a grille price!
I rang them and they said its not availiable i think it may of been damaged, but other bits are still there, there prices are not bad really aswell,i might draw up a list of bits i need.....

Just to confirm that i have now finally sourced and received the a grille!

I found one for sale on a French autoparts site who were happy to send to the UK, and thankfully they did so efficiently and packaged it brilliantly so it arrived in one piece, i was a little worried it would get damaged in transit.

Grille is now fitted but my paint job on it is less than ideal, but given how easy it was to remove / fit i will tackle that again at a later date, it looks a ton better than having a cracked / lopsided grille that's for sure!

I'll try and get some photos and a new readers ride thread up as it looks like the safrane is going to be a keeper as it's just too reliable to sell on.
