Hi John,
Sounds like a fair offer assuming the couriers can do it for £10-£15. I've never sent anything that large before so let me make enquiries and i will see what I can do for you.
As for throwing bits away, I've done no such thing yet! I do have a large plastic compost bin full of bits of metal I was going to weigh in though but anything else (including nuts, bolts and pretty much most other bits is still up for grabs. I still have many remains from the previous one in 3 sheds too
As for the exhaust, no holes in it but it was getting a little growly from memory but I never did anything with it. At the moment I can't actually get it out as the join between the middle and back sections have welded together via the rust. I need to get the rear subframe down before I can take them both out together as I can't get them to seperate in their current position.
One rear caliper was like new - I'd bought that myself last year off ebay and fitted it so I'm keeping that as a spare myself. The other one.. if its anything like the old one I replaced, it won't come out intact but I can try. I was just going to remove the whole shock assembly with it still on there and stash it in the shed
I will get photos of the tray in a jiffy..
