Where do you guys get yours from? I notice many Safrane's have a completely different wiper to the one that is on mine. Renault have always supplied me what I believe to be ones different to the originals. I'll try and get some pics of the differences. Does anyone know of any other cars that share that wiper design (it's like the fitting is upside down!)

The original drivers wiper is a side mounted set up,bit strange but i can get them.
The original fitment from new should have a spoiler the WHOLE length of the blade, most including the genuine Renault item have the spoiler ending about 2 inches from each end.
Try listing a pic if you can.

I've never bothered replacing the wipers. I simply take the wiper blades to my local independant parts dealer and ask them to replace the rubber parts as the drivers wiper blade can't be found anywhere. To put it bluntly, they're rarer than rocking horse teeth!

Mine has always had this style of wiper on which are the only ones Renault supply but aren't original.

The hook is upside down and so it won't fit into a normal wiper blade (it lifts the bottom half of the blade off the glass as it goes up). Therefore you have to use one specially designed for an up hook instead. Nothing on these cars is normal!

I think 610s wiper is actually correct, mine is the same fitment and a look at the brochures, press pics shows the same side fitment to the wiperblade.
The 100% correct blade is one with a spoiler the whole length of the blade though.

Mine is what Renault supply now but isn't the originally supplied wiper for the Safrane. I think it looks awkward but it works fine so I'm not too bothered. I have spoke at length with my local Renault dealer about the orignial but they can't help. I don't use my wipers that much anyway as I use permaclear on the windscreen and the water just flies off when your moving quickly. It's good stuff!
