I take it you're not buying it then detheridge? - Gotta be honest with you, from the description it sounds like your ideal safrane ;)

You're correct, it does seem ideal. Unfortunately it's way out of my price range. :cry:

What is your price range? - We can help you find one ;)

£1300 for a 24,000 mile car with FSH is cheap. A lot of fine car for the money. These cars are worth soooo much more than that. Shame they don't go for more. Wish I had a bit more space and fewer cars lol, would love to stockpile a few good ones so I could always have one to use long into the future. I've driven mine daily for over 10 years now and there is quite a lot of choice on my drive but the Saffy is always the first set of keys to be picked up (despite it being worth so much less than the Lotus, Alpine, Jaguar, Volvo and various other Renault's!)

You will find one,but i still can,t understand how quick that sold,would of liked to seen how good that was.
Theres one out there somewhere,but i think the chances of finding a mint example are a touch slim,you may have to make an excellent example mint yourself with a bit of work and some help?

I'm a bit shocked too especially as there was no photo of it or even an engine size!

Must be said Julian, I'm with V6RXE on this, I think you might have to settle for a slightly less-than-mint safrane and put some work into it because I doubt that anything you find will be up to your expectations after 13-14 years.

@Julian:

You could always be the envy of us all and buy Jac Chiracs bullet proof safrane:
