The plates worth about £300 i guess, looks strange a phase 2 on an L reg,doesn,t look right,still can,t get my head around why/when they used chrome grilles,seems like 98 cars only.
Sorry i know this one doesn,t have a chrome grille.

Its not bad,but no mention of mileage,and i,am sure it should have alloys,but could be wrong,thought all 2.2 Execs had alloys.
First phase 1 i,ve seen for a while on E-bay.

Mileage is 108,000. Looks rough to me. The alloys on the 2.2 execs seem to corrode pretty badly from all the ones I've seen so probably just been replaced with those nasty looking wheel trims.

I,ve bought the chrome grille,not sure why,i don,t own a phase 2!! but if i ever did i must have a chrome grille and they are a bit thin on the ground.

LOL you didn't? Actually I can believe that..

How much did you pay for it? They're £200 new so anything less than that is a bargain. I got one for £20 whereas our old mutual safrane friend paid £60 for his if I recall.

I paid £25 delivered,hopefully its as good as the seller claims it is...will update when i get it.

I spoke to my neighbour again yesterday about this car. He said there was an engine problem and the heater blower had expired and something else too. He also mentioned that he was pretty sure it had over 160,000 miles at the last MOT some time ago. I'm pretty sure when I drove it, it was showing well over 150,000 miles. Maybe it's just an error on the garage's part?
