Think 6 months is 121.00. 12 months is £220.00

Oh I thought it had gone up? My neighbour has a 2L manual mondeo (yuck lol) that is an 02 plate and he just had to pay £135 for 6 months. I can't believe the safrane is still cheaper!

Strange. Just taxed the Esprit and it was that price and the Alpine is that price too. Safrane tax is due next month so will find out if it has gone up. I think older cars (pre 2001) are on a very simple scale where they are a certain price if over 1.5 litre. After 2001, cars are on a sliding scale depending on CO2 emissions. So much cheaper to run an older car for many reasons ;-)

Ah yes I vaguely remember something about that now. That was introduced by greedy gordon wasn't it and everyone was moaning about the government backdating the emissions to 2001. I forgot all about that..

Well if thats the case I think I'll stick with the saff then when I can get it back on the road..

Yeah but at £300 seems cheap enough?
I have asked a few questions just to get some more info on it.
