Q2 2013 figures out and again the Safrane numbers are dropping
V6i has stayed the same at 1
V6 RT has dropped to 3 from 4
V6 RXE has dropped from 6 to 5.
The amount of Phase 2 2.5 RXEs is worrying aswell,about 30 every quarter,i think its time to try and find a nice example before they all go.

Don't worry, mine will be for sale soon...although nice example would be pushing it...

Q3 figures have just be released and of course its more bad news...
Most Safranes have dropped in the taxed bracket and even dropped on the SORN,the 2.5 RXE is dropping,around 15-20 every 3 month,just over 180 on the road,if you have a good one,keep it!
On a personal note the V6s are as follows
V6 RT had 3 taxed in Q2 but now has 4 taxed and the SORN was 4 for Q2 but now its 3 for Q3,this maybe Alexs car that was on a Sorn but have now been taxed.
The V6i was 1 taxed for Q2 and is still 1 for Q3,but the SORN has dropped from 2 in Q2 to 1 in Q3,so one has gone forever.
The V6 RXE(My cars) taxed was 5 for Q2 but has dropped to 4 for Q3(i own 2 of them)but the SORN has dropped from 11 in Q2 to 8 in Q3.
My advise would be if you find a nice Safrane try and buy it if you can,theres not many nice examples lesft and i,am sure that will slightly go up in value soon,they can,t go much further down in valve.

Q2 2014 figures are posted and yep more doom and gloom for the Safranes,they are dropping of each quarter.
I notice the 2.5 RXE is one to watch a drop of 15 in the last 3 months and 50 in the last year,i think a mint example will become a rare car soon.
On a personal note the the V6 RXE has dropped to an all time low of only 3 roadworthy examples,i never thought it would drop that low.

Big bump on this thread but Q1 2015 figures releaded a few days ago and yet more drops in numbers,the 2.5 RXE is the one to watch,only 118 left on the road now,i think i nice example of one of these is worth looking after,my V6 RXE is still down to one!!

Another bump for this thread,latest figures are out and when you look at the figures the Safrane makes poor reading,2.5 RXE is down to 90 now and by far makes up most of the survivors.

Yikes! But that doesn't take into account those that have been privately dismantled as the DVLA won't officially recognise these now unless taken to an official breaker for a COD.

So that 90 definitely is down to 89 as I declared the last one i broke as "No longer owned by me". I did inform them i'd destroyed it but they'll only update their records to show you're no longer the keeper of it.

Latest figures for 2016 have just been released and it shows that my V6 RXE is the only one roadworthy in the U.K,this has happened before and flutters between one and two examples,its nice to know I have the only one left on the road,but also a little sad really...
2.5 RXE Phase 2 has dropped from 87 to 83 aswell.
