This is just over scrap money, strange it has no alloys

Renault did offer a bottom of the range without alloys.. no leccy seats, no rear leccy windows etc. I suspect that is one of them - they themselves are rare now too!

This has a sensible description, nice to see some effort gone into trying to sell the car, wonder where he got the V6 alloys from?Although a 2.2 Executive had them aswell,so did a V6 espace.

Something very strange about that car you know, ir's an R reg 2.5L... no electric seats but it has the 6 disc changer.

All R plated 2.5's had electric seats so it looks like those have been removed. The disc changer was optional too so I'm reckoning that it was once a better car than it is now. Not keen on the V6 alloys myself.. from my POV they're not the part.

My car is an R Reg 2.5 but has never had electric seats. My neighbour also had an R Reg with manual seats. Both our cars were also missing the CD changer (just standard CD stereo deck) I thought the electric seats were only ever an option on the Safrane Ph II, standard on Questor?

Now you have me.. however the last time i looked in the promo booklets that renault produced it was only the 2L that offered the lower spec cars.

It's been a while since I've even see those booklets though so I may be wrong..

Infact I do remember r25limosuine from youtube once telling me that you could tell which safranes had leccy seats by the colour of the wing mirror glass. Apparently those that are slightly tinted blue have the leccy seats, those without it don't. Must admit I've never seen the blue on any of our three safranes lol

Those seats in the silver e-bay car(Now £350 or best offer)are as they should be,this is taken from the ICM i just looked up at work
FRONT SEATS WITH MANUAL CONTROL
It was an option,i will try and start a new thread about options on the Safrane range shortly as it can get abit confusing what was availiable as an option(well on a phase 1 it is!!)

The silver 2.5 with V6 alloys on the front is my car and I really don't want to part with it, but that fiasco I recently had with a Tonnellier Phase 1 electric interior was the last straw for my other half and the poor Safrane has it's marching orders.
