Hello all.... i'm new to the site and looking for a front windscreen and rear tailgate for a PH2 R reg and i'm based in Manchester if anyone can help....

I have a gold tailgate if thats any use. I've already stripped out the plastic unfortunately (and as sods law goes, I accidentally broke it today too - 3 small splits). Also the light clusters are out but the rest of it is intact; Metal hatch with glass, wiring loom (which I'd been planning to strip out but I can live without it), spoiler (needs a repaint) and hinges. Usual rusty spot above the handle though You will also need to fit your lock barrel into it. Wiper motor sold seperately!

It's not ready to come off yet and courier would be mighty expensive as its so heavy but if you're interested, I can reserve it for you for £80 plus courier.

I can supply pics if you like?

Forgot to say, I can't help with the front screen I'm afraid, I cracked it by accident trying to get the front wiper arms out. Another safrane friend assured me it can come out without screen removal even though I told him it couldn't - result? I was gullable enough to try

Can i asl why you want a tailgate ond windscreen?
Could you not claim the windscreen on insurance?

Hi Les,

Pictures of tailgate are below. Please note the rust patch by the handle which you'd need to repair and the spoiler which appears to have broken away from the screw. I think you'd need some strong glue to repair that (I have another in the garden which despite having a rotten wiper hole, has a great spoiler that I can't remove due to the glue )

The wiper motor has been left in to keep the hole plugged from the rain. This will be removed before sending if you want the tailgate. Wiring loom is also gone (sorry, needed it) but the locking servo is still in place with the rest of the mechanism. To connect the electric windscreen there are two spade terminals that you push connectors onto. The spoiler will need a repaint as its been damaged by too much sun light. The wiper hole appears to be in good condition from an external viewpoint.
